BREAK @Kwun Tong, Hong Kong 好食 (quality): 環境 (environment): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 服務 (service): - Come and take a BREAK! This cafe has some Japanese comfort food and coffees with beautiful latte arts! This is also a great place to have a cute date or hang out with friends. This time, I tried: 36 hours infused earl grey latte I have yet to try earl grey latte and this actually surprised me! First of all, their latte art is very impressive and detailed, amazing! The coffee flavour in this latte is quite strong too, following with the earl grey tea flavour. Very comforting to have! 48°C slow-cooked Norwegian salmon guacamole yuzu rice As someone who is not the biggest fan of rice, I kept going back for more! Every bite was so refreshing as there are yuzu in the rice. Also the salmon was so soft and yummy! it comes with a soup (with LOTS of tofu and seaweed inside) and a small refreshing dish Other featured food: Hojicha Latte Nanban chicken (rice/green salad) They have some great deals everyday as well! Everyday during afternoon tea time, every in store drink order will get a cake for free! And their cake selection change everyday! Every Friday, they have a buy one get one free for all black and white coffee! (With an exception of 12PM - 2PM)‼ The servers were very helpful and welcoming! Thank you for the yummy food and the great hospitality!

Weekend brunch at Quayside Break, here offers light menus and a wide range of drinks choices. We ordered a nanban chicken donburi and grilled sandwich with tamago & pork chop. Surprisingly they were in good portions and reasonable price. There were 50% discount in ordering drinks. We had hojicha latte and ginger chilling, a speciality coffee. Not bad, worth trying!

There is a 15% discount for lunch after 1 to 5 o'clock on weekdays. Afternoon tea after 3 o'clock on weekdays is also very affordable. There are light sandwiches and udon. Smoked salmon guacamole croissant is crunchy and delicious, with a large slice of smoked salmon sandwiched in it, served with avocado, which neutralizes the saltiness of the smoked salmon. Make the entrance more delicious. Kocoffee It is the special choice here, adding homemade ginger base, as well as fresh milk, coconut milk, espresso, and Okinawa brown sugar.

For people working nearby, this place is undoubtedly a convenient and chill spot for lunch. The items are reasonably priced. During tea time, ???????????????????? offers unlimited refills on drinks. To add even more excitement to the week, it also has a buy-one-get-one-free promotion on black and white coffee every Friday (except lunch hour (12nn-2pm))! We ordered two all-day brunches and we got a 50% discount on drinks. Yay!

Located right in the middle of Kowloon Bay and Ngau Tau Kok, Break is a total hidden gem. We walked around 15 minutes from Telford Plaza, taking the photogenic bridge to cross the road before arriving at The Quayside As we visited on a Saturday morning, the restaurant was quite empty with only a few tables occupied. It was nice and quiet, perfect for taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The waitress asked us if we were interested to try the weekly specials (which wasn’t on the menu). We chose the tuna over the nanban chicken, as we saw that the chicken seemed to have been already prepared (we were sitting near the kitchen). The food arrived at our table quite fast. Both mains came with a hearty miso soup that had dried shrimp, tofu, seaweed and radish as well as an appetizer (pickled cucumber). We were absolutely blown away by the tuna don. The seared tuna was fatty while the sesame crust provided a crispy texture and hint of nutty flavor. I also really enjoyed the creamy guacamole, although the raw onion diced made it a little too spicy for me. The sweet and thick Japanese curry sauce paired well with the crispy fried pork cutlet and rice sprinkled with furikake. It was nice that they also added some veggies, including potato, carrot and broccoli to give more variety to the dish. The drinks were half-priced, as we had ordered mains. The hojicha latte was very creamy, but the lemonade was a little too sour with no fizz and too much ice. Perhaps we should have tried their coffee instead...
